URGENT! HELP - DVD copying

I have the Pioneer DVD-RW and I want to copy a wedding DVD (a home-made). This DVD-R/WR is the only drive in the computer, no other DVD-rom drive. How do I copy the wedding dvd?

Which software to use?
Purchase a 'regular' 4.7 DVD-R ?

Will I be able to play the copied DVD-R on a regular electronic DVD player?

your drive should have come w/ software to let u burn and extract... use ur DVD-R drive of course to extract.

DVD-R disk is perfect, DVD-RW have trouble playing on some DVD players like CD-RW on some audio players.

get hold of Nero..take an image and then write it back to a DVD recordable.

The computer has Easy CD Creator 5 installed. I don't know if i could use it to copy.

As I said, this computer has only ONE drive which is the DVD-R/RW.

Would CD Copier do?

i do not have a dvd-r drive but i would imagine that Easy Creator or any burn program that supports dvd-r drives can make an image of ur original dvd onto your hard drive. if you have sufficient space on ur hd that is...

You can use the disc copier portion of Roxio instead of Easy CD Creator. CD Copier will allow you to select the source and destination as the same drive letter. This automatically turns on the option to copy to hard drive first. On the second TAB in CD Copier it will show you where the file is going or you can select a location. CD Copier will image the disc when you click start and tell you to switch CD's when it is ready to burn.

I got the thing running and made one copy already. Got to love Memorex. It didn't disappoint me in the cd-r time, not disappointing me now with DVD-R.

But first I got Verbatim DVD-R, didn't work. I drove 8 miles to return them and got memorex. Work like a charm, much like copying cd-r. Memorex forever.

btw, Iam using nero 5.5.10 trial. Sweet. Roxio cd copier refused to run whatsoever.
