Hi,

i am replacing my fried celeron with a new 1.33GHz 266FSB Athlon SOCKET A TBird and would like to know what is THE BEST available motherboard i can get as of today.

The necessary features are DDR memeory support, 266mhz FSB, GREAT reliability and stability, ATA100 RAID with atleast 4 IDE ports on board, jumperless settings.

It would be great if it can ALSO support older SDRAM (i already have 256mb of PC150 sticks).

I also want plenty of PCI's and atleast AGP 4X, although AGP 4x with AGP Pro is preferred.

board should be ATX type

Price shouldn't stand in the way of extra features, althought i am interested in the best possible deal at th ebest possible price.

Thanks a lot

(it is kinda urgent)

For DDR, I would suggest the Asus A7A266 which will accecpt DDR or SDRAM and a FSB of 200 or 266 or A7M266 which only has 266 FSB and supports only DDR. But I would go with the Asus A7V133 (133A) chipset and 200 or 266 FSB and because of the near equal performance and cheaper 133MHz memory.

I like my Epox 8KTA3. Very stable running a Duron 800@980. But it doesn't use DDR.
