Spearhead and MOHAA keeps crashing

Hi just got the expansion pack and it keeps crashing after it loads the mission.

I mean the brief screen is cool then it loads the mission then I drop to the desktop.

I have ran the game in safe mode still there are issues.

cpu: Tualitin 1ghz, @1.15ghz

ram pc133 1.25gigs

hdd 40 7200 rpm

via mobo

radeon 7500 vid card.

Note I have played the demo before and MOHAA and it did not crash. Although about a month ago I noticed that MOHAA seemed to crash as well.

Uninstall them both, reinstall them. After install, check and see if MoH:AA is actually there, sometimes the patch deletes the folder and only leaves the patched files in there. If everything is in there, it should read as a clean install and you should be able to play both. Spearhead can turn a good installation bad, but since yours was already bad, it couldn't do it.

Did a good integrity scan of your HD lately and made sure to defrag?

Ok I did all of that and yes it works great! Now I just need to defrag. big time! The game works but multiplayer it says when it tries to patch the game that the game installation is not there.

What should I do?

It patches the game for you on installation of Spearhead if you don't have the current patch. Maybe they mean the Spearhead patch (if they ever released one)? If you installed it to a new directory, uninstall may have missed some stuff in the registry (all programs seem to love doing this), and the patch is looking to a nonexistant directory. If it's to the same directory I'd just blame the idiots that programmed that garbage of a game. That's one game I wish I bought at EB so I could return it. Thoroughly diisappointed in the length and ease of the missions. Three hours max to play through the full expansion? Please. That's ten bucks an hour without tax.

Hi had to revive this old thread.

I am able to get the single player to work.
But I am unable to play online.
How can i make the patch find the installation of the game?
The expansion i mean.

hmmm the patch i downloaded says 2.11-2.15
But on the cover of the cd it says that it is the first edition.
Is there an earlier patch?

ok so i dled and installed the patch (ealier version 2.0)

But the patch cannot recongize the game on my hdd is there anyway I can MAKE it see the installation?
