..Is there such a thing that would let me use a highly over clockable Athlon or such on a AV61 (spacewalker I think) MOBO...would love to push a good chip and allways know I have & can use the PIII as a backup chip just in case...lol

any suggestions??

I haven't heard of something like that. The one i've heard of makes a P-3 socket 470 (or whatever the slot is) work in a slot-1. But they slow your system down, and can cause incompatibilties. Sorry! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/frown.gif

If you have a 650e flip chip (fcpga) its not a slot 1. A slot 1 is a cartridge that plugs into a slot 1 motherboard. A fcpga chip is for a socket 370 connection. If you have a slot 1 board a slotket is an easy way to install a fcpga chip onto the board. I have an Abit SlotketIII and it works great. Just set it to your chips configuration, plug it into the slot and your done. I never had any problems with it. You can set the fsb, voltage and autodetect the processor speed and choose pga or fcpga chipsets also. Hope this helps.
I also have never seen a slotket for an AMD processor.
