Might try deleting the file:

c:\windows\ttfCache

& reboot (may need a couple of 'em).

Hi Cant find it, what is it. all the text in the forums are OK, main problem seem to be Outlook Express and some stuff on pages.

Gotta set your Explorer "Options" to View All Files.

found true text fonts. many many of them some "out of this world" wonder if I should delete a bunch of them, Ill never use. think I have solved the problem, was mainly with Out look express, went to view, incoding, checked auto select. next time it went to western european ISO. and every thing seems OK now. we'll see http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif TNX.

Just passing by and saw your post. I'm glad you solved your problem. Here's my two cents for deleting some fonts. Windows does load slower the more fonts you have installed and windows as well as others apps run slower with the more fonts you have. But I must also say that we never know which we might need and it is, I found, a tidious job-depending on how many you have installed. My experience is that it did help overall performance, cheap tuneup.
