Symantec is reporting a fast-spreading worm virus called W32.Badtrans.13312@mm. Symantec has upgraded this to their Level 4. It spreads through email and affects all Windows Operating systems. It does not delete files, although it displays a fake file corrupt error. Definitions dating 4/11 and later protect against this virus; our workstations are presently running definitions dated 4/03. Our BorderGuards are already set to block attachments for this virus (*.scr, *.pif.)
