Im upgrading to a WD 40gb 7200 rpm drive. The instructions suggest using an add in Promise Ultra100 TX2 controller card.

Will the BH6 support this and will there be a noticable improvement if yes. I cant find any answers on Abit site.

Currently using 98SE but will upgrade to 2000 once the system is up and running.

Using 450 P111 @ 558 and 768mb ram.

That will work for you.

When you upgrade, don't forget to have the drivers for the TX2 ready on a floppy. When you first see "Setup is inspecting hardware...", press F6 to load the drivers. Otherwise, installation will fail.
