Umm odd :t BipolarBill 01-16-2003, 01:19 AM Those can be very disruptive (false alarms) and they aren't effective anyway. Skip it. Peter M 01-16-2003, 03:18 AM Right ... those BIOS virus protections merely protect against boot sector viruses. These used to be common in the days when lots of floppy disks were swapped between users - today, viruses mostly are email stuff relying on security holes in the email client and/or brain holes in the user in front of the machine. BIOS technically can't protect against either. j.m@talk 01-16-2003, 09:10 AM Skip it!.................. Can't even see it...................... Wot is it called on the bios set up page?
