I installed my riva tnt 2 ultra into my new asus motherboard, the Red light turns on that says hte video card is bad, but i tested the video card on a diffrent system and it works. does anyone konw how to fix this problem?

That motherboard you have will not take a 3.3v AGP card. It will only take 1.5v cards. While there are some TNT2's that do both 3.3v (AGP 2x) and 1.5v (AGP 4x), yours probably ain't one of them.

To illustrate here are 2 pictures.
This one is AGP 2x/4x capable, usable at 1.5v and 3.3v:

It has 2 notches on the interface.
This one is a pure 3.3v AGP card, and cannot be used with a 1.5v AGP board:

This has only one notch on the interface.
BTW, these are both TNT2 Ultra cards.

Wow. He's lucky he has an Asus board that doesn't let itself fry with a 3.3v card. Others without that protection might have gone zzt already....
