what do you mean, UT2k3 is dead? I don't play it multiplayer (net connection is very bad so never intended to play online, whats that, a free copy ;)) so don't know that world, but the game seems solid enough!

Most of the diehards still play original UT online, i hang out at a popular clans sever and all their 2k3 servers are always empty, when they converted the server for my much beloved Ut2k3 CTF to DB i never played the game again onlinbe

I played it to death the first coupleof month, never touched it since, not even for SP :(

Was just on ut2k3 last night for the first time in a loooong time and it was bumping. Haven't gotten the last patch yet, but the bonus pack will prob renew some people's interest. I think the new game type (name: invasion?) where you are co-op against the oncoming aliens sounds fun.

UT2003 simply is really dum! Real dum .
The game play is no ware as good as teh original UT.

The weapons too are sad..... :(

The commentater in UT2003 is so lame. The wasy he says "Blue team wins the match......."""

It was way better of in the original ut.

The players too seem to slow down a lot.

The only + point was the graphics....

There is the option to bump up game speed if you are looking for faster gameplay like the original. I thought I read somewhere that this bonus pack is giving it the feel of the original in a way. Some of us like dumb run and gun after playing 3 straight hours of Raven Shield tactics and crawling and peeking...etc. etc. Its a relief to just go berzerk once and while and give a MUAHHAHAA when a redeemer shot kills 5+ baddies :)
