Weird burner problem.

I've got a CD that I tried to burn and it APPEARS to be full of data--I see individual files, they all are listed as having sizes, etc.

However, NONE of them function. Txt files open, and appear to have data, but are blank. EXe's dont run at all. What's up?

What probably happened was it only burned the table of contents, which tells your computer whats on the cd and how big they are. The files themselves where never burned, or possibly only partialy burned. Happens sometimes to me. The popular term for what you have is a "coaster."

I agree. It was probably burned using disc at once recording which writes the table of contents before it puts on the data.

So I've got a CD I've tried to burn using CDR Win, CloneCD, and Nero. None of them seem to be able to read it correctly. I'm just trying to backup a program I own legitimately here--what's up? What can I do?
