CS IS ****, I HATE CS.

It used to be i think its called: CS_Iceworld or something, a level with guns on the floor and you just kill each other, quite simple, but entertaining as the rounds are short and its good.

You should put a poll up for "i hate CS" otherwise it is not fair, ignorance eh?

The map you're thinking of is fy_iceworld. I play it a bit.

I am well aware of the faults in cs:

The awp
"Spray and pray" firing techniques
Silly grenade damage
Camping n00bs
Hacking n00bs

But if you get good enough at it, you can step above all those faults (except the last one :()

OP - I know you like dod more - it's a really good teamplay game.

Aztec. Simply because its pi**easy to wipe the floor with the terrorists if you play as a CT with the Steyr aug :rolleyes:

My fav map is aim_map (started seeing a lot of it on some servers) Its real fun map with only colts, aks and couple awps. Spray and pray tactics all the way LoL :D

Another fav map is awp_map thats just the best fun for the whole family :)

The only three major reasons why i stopped playing CS is:

X There wasn't any other good mods out until like two years ago, giving CS a two year advantage over other mods, apart from TFC, and i have never been good at that.

X The round time is really long, especially when a noob joins and he camps in his spawn waiting for someone to come out.

X The GRENADE damage is absolutely stupid, grenades don't go through walls.


When i found DoD, i loved it as soon as i started playing it, the team play aspect of it is just amazing, but without CS admittedly it probably would have never started as CS is the "DOOM" of the modding scene.

Swat 3 and cs are totally different types of games. Swat is centered around realism, while cs is centered around arcadeish action.

Anyway, my favorite map is de_dust2.
