Dual Monitor

I have only one monitor hooked upto my Radeon 7000, but my comp keeps finding another one. It shows my regular Mag 720v2, but then it shows this 'default' monitor. When i try to remove it, windows puts it right back(i.e finds an unknown device installs software for it)! I have Win98se.

Unfortunately, I'm not running Win98 so I can't recall exactly where this is: rigth click on your wallpaper (on your desktop, this is :P) and select "Properties" --> find the tab that says Settings --> click Advanced --> Now, try to find a tab named "Monitor" or something close --> on the panel that appears it should be a checkbox saying "Find new Plug and Play Monitors at startup" or something similar to this--> uncheck it, click OK and remove the monitor Windows installed --> reboot and see what happens

I'm sorry if the items aren't in this specific location, but the first two instructions are definitely right, so look further in there if you don't find it at first. :)

You need to boot into Safe Mode and go to Device Manager. Remove all monitor drivers and reboot. When Windows asks for the driver, choose SVGA 1024x768 75Hz. That should hold.
