President George W. Bush is visiting a school, The teacher asks the President if he would like to lead the class in a discussion of the word 'tragedy' so the president asks the class for an example of a tragedy.

One little boy stands up and offers, "If my best friend, who lives next door, is playing in the street and a car runs him over, that would be a tragedy. "No" says Bush, "that would be an ACCIDENT."

A little girl raises her hand: "If a school bus carrying 50 children drove off a cliff, killing everyone involved, that would be a tragedy". "I'm afraid not" explains the President. "That's what we would call a GREAT LOSS."

The room goes silent. No other children volunteer. President Bush searches the room. "Isn't there someone here who can give me an example of a tragedy?" Finally, little Johnny raises his hand. In a quiet voice he says, "If Air Force One, carrying you and Mrs. Bush, was struck by a missile and blown up to smithereens - that would be a tragedy." "Correct" exclaims Bush, "that's right. And can you tell me WHY that would be a tragedy?" "Well," Lil' Johnny said, "cos, like you told us, it wouldn't be no accident, and it sure as flip wouldn't be a great loss."

have you noticed the amount of skit George "W" Bush gets from everyone but Americans? The USA appear to adore their president, while as the rest of the world hides terrified as he seems to attack (verbaly and otherwise) everyone who stood/stands against his father and him?

I'm sorry, I'm no politician, and maybe the taint of the British media and news makes George "W" Bush appear worse than he is, or maybe the USA media is just propoganda....I mean, he wants to install his "Star Wars" radar system here in the Uk, he makes so many mistakes in his speechs - he is more a joke that tries to make the world right before he makes his own country conform (treaty for pollution levels anyone?).

Having said that, I am not sure wor Tony is all that great either.

I'm American, I dont' adore him. I think he's an idiot to put it in the most polite of terms. We have to watch what we say now, as they want to build a big assed database on all of us, yet he complains of the goverment treading on people's rights when it comes to gun profiling. Maybe that's cause the ACLU doesn't give the President money and the NRA does? Quite a few of us think he's an idiot, just all the old folks out there don't comprehend things like "the whole arab world will hate us (well they already do, but he's just making it worse)." They are still firmly rooted in the WW2 and before thoughts and beliefs that we can stand alone isolated from the world. Sadly a majority of voters fit that category, the other majority are the religous and gun loons who vote Republican because they hate abortion and love guns (aint that something ****ed up if you think about it?).

We all don't love him, many of us think he's just making things worse - the death tax only applied to the top 2% of americans in the nation - yet nobody would listen to the democrats when they said that. His third tax cut is aimed HIGHLY at the wealthy despite the propaganda otherwise. All he is in office to do is make the rich even richer. We are the nation with the largest mobility of income (range), a decent bit behind us are Great Britian and South Africa. Caring about the working class my ***.

All of America does not love him. He gets a extra level of lee way and support because of 911, that's all. He's kind of bland really, hard to hate or love. Dude's an airhead, let's face it. Good thing he's got some real brains working behind the scenes. Basically a Bush is good for the US if you want a president who isn't going to do much but wage a war, which may be good, or bad, depedning

Other than on the internet there are few people I know who like this jerk. He's gonna fubar this country if he gets back in in 2004. I think the majority of the people here do NOT like him.

Tecumseh's Curse (http://wovoca.com/prophecy-shawnee-tecumseh-curses-presidents.htm) may just get rid of him or maybe not.

Indeed, his sorry anti-union behind does not give a ***** about the working class. But you can't really expect anything else from some pampered rich punk.
