Hi all
What key do i press on my keyboard to hold the info on the screen longer so i can read it after a CHKDSK in xp pro.

No it does not the pause button only holds the dos type screens during boot up not the info after a CHKDSK either there is another way or my machine is well ?

Try the print screen key. Then you can paste it from the clipboard into a graphics editor (mspaint will do just fine) and read it there. I know it works during normal operation of an OS, but I don't know if it'll work after running checkdisk. I guess its worth a shot though.

try CHKDSK [DRIVENAME]: > TEMP.TXT

like chkdsk c: > temp.txt

this would redirect the output to temp.txt...open temp.txt after that and you could see all the results...simple
