could the problem for my bad graphics be related to my monitor? in both medal of honor allied assault, and the expansion, spearhead, when i enter a multi-player level, everything looks like badly carved wood, though i can tell where i am going... i have another monitor, should i try that? fps (though i havent the slightest clue what that is), in the game, ranges from 85-30...
should i try the monitor switch? or vid card switch, with whatever i can find... i have a voodoo 3 somewhere around here:p, "somewhere"

What video card do you have? It shouldn't be the monitor at all, as the vid card tells the monitor what to display, so it sounds like a driver issue or settings issue (MOHAA and Spearhead's graphics are a bit sharp to begin with btw). You might not have FSAA enabled for OpenGL and the game isn't asking for it - so you may want to set it manually. Depending on your card would depend on what I'd recommend.

looks to me that your video card has the problem
it is old so if you can buy another one Ati 9000 and newer or nvidia GF4 - look also for an updated driver
I am not sure for vodoo because it is also old, still you can find some drivers though that mayby can work.
Check in the games site if it is supported by the game
hope that helps

well, i just bid and won a P3 866, case, geforce 2 32 mb, 128mb ram, asus motherboard, win98, power supply, for a mere $187.51 (sounds like about $300+ retail)... so i might just transfer everything into all that, not along with win98 though:x, win 2k, and i think that 16 more mb of memory that's in this vid card will help a lot with my problems
oh and BTW, i switched monitors, no luck, though i didnt bet on it working :p
so i'll wait a week for it, and i'll have fun with it!:d
