CD-R/RW problems

ok i have a burner 6x4x32x and i can only burn at 4x but i can never get it to burn at the full extent of 6x when ever i try to
the cd has many errors or it wont burn at all

i have a 166MHz pentium
with 48MB of ram
(a very **** comp. but a good one nonetheless)

Your PC spec's are probably the problem.

with 48M ram, I'm surprised your not paging so much that it even burns at 4X.

Asking questions and then demanding a certain response NOT displayed on the forum is not generally acceptable...in fact it's rude to the people who want to see the resolution for themselves.

If you want an email response, you should have checked that option when you posted.

I concur. You're taxing that system as is, be happy with getting 4x. Remember, just because the car's speedometer goes up to 120mph doesn't mean that Geo Metro can do it.

I also agree with the 2nd part of BBA's message, these forums are here for us to share information and resolve issues in a public forum for the benifit of all reading (many of whom we never even hear from). What's so difficult with saving this URL and revisiting the thread? If you can open an email client and check your email then you can just as easily open a browser and click on a bookmark that'll bring you right back to this message.
