Hi! I have a Slot 1 motherboard for sale. It's capable of running at 1 GHz, but it can run sweetly at 600 MHz or 700 MHz. I'm selling it for $30. I am also selling two memory modules; both are PC100; both are 128 MB in size. I can sell both of them to you for $50. If you want to buy the motherboard as well as the two sticks of memory modules, I can sell it all to you for $80. (S+H is included in the price.) PM me if you are interested. Thank you.

The best way for you to go would be an AMD Duron 1.2ghz cpu and a socket A board. The cpu would run around $30 and a board about $40. 128mb of sdram is about $15. Check at www.pricewatch.com

Go to the pricewatch website {use the link in elroy's post}, then click the "motherboard combos" link and you will have a list of all the combos you can choose from.....:)

If LordKiwKSilva00 does a lot of video encoding, with an app that can take advantage of SMP/SMT it may be worth the fuss.
