Trying to set up a win2000 network with printer and file sharing on three home computers through local lan. Have been able to get print functions from one computer to admin and can see printer on other system but can't get it to print. File sharing feature is not coming up though I had it a few months ago on a win 98 setup. What do I need to do?:t

Greg, all PCs must have a common logon and use Client for MS Networks as Primary logon. You should add all users in Users and Groups in the Computer Management console too.
You have to install the printer remotely on each PC by double-clicking it in the network browser.
File sharing feature is not coming up though I had it a few months ago on a win 98 setup. What does that mean? Reinstall it in Network properties.

Thanks Bill,
I'll get to that tommorrow. I didn't think about checking the client setups to see that they were all named correctly. Got to get some shut-eye for now. Another work day on the Horizon:)

Just a follow up here but I got it all working now. I went back in and checked to see if I had check sharing on the drive and I HAD but dummy me didn't see the drive named C$ so I renamed the drive and all was as needed.
Thanks for the suggestions
