Got a Microsoft Wireless Optical Mouse for xmas and was less than enthuised with the way it performed in my games. It seemed a little laggy from its movement, which I assume is due to the wireless aspect and not the optical feature.

Anybody know of a good WIRED optical mouse for gaming??

thanks.

Generally speaking, the wireless aspect as you've said, is a culprit for bad accuracy compared to the optical end of the device. Using a MS wired optical and rarely ever have a sensitivity/accuracy issue (although I do use it as my excuse when my skill is ****). Got a good deal on the MS from Best Buy (rebate). I would be interested to see if there is any noticeable advantage with the dual optical mouse.
