I have a domain name that legally belongs to namezero.com (free service that registers the name for you). The WHOIS has their name on it.

I want to officially use the name with a webhost (namezero doesn't do any hosting) and have the domain name officially belong to me. Now naturally you would say to just transfer it, but according to Namezero's Terms of Agreement, the fee is $50 for transfers.

My plan is to quit the namezero service entirely. My question to you guys is... what do you think they will do with the domain name rh71.com then? It states they may "HOLD, CANCEL, SELL OR TRANSFER THE DOMAIN NAME AT OUR DISCRETION"... So do you guys happen to know how long they may hold it for before it becomes available for anyone again? Obviously this isn't something I'd ask them (even if they had an email address to write to, that is)...

Thanks guys.

I'd assume it'd be theirs until it expired.
