Age of Mythology Text, opening Video

When I play AoM the text looks "corrupted" I followed microsofts support instructions for fixing the text (all of them) and none of them worked, I opened the text file and took a look, they all look fine to me, I tried them in MS Word, looks fine.

Does anyone else have this problem? plus the opening movie is out of 'sync' or its running slower than the sound is.

Any suggestions?

Athlon 2100+
GeForce 4 Ti 4400 - newest drivers
Sound Blaster Audigy Platinum -newest drivers
Direct X 8.1 -- (not gonna get 9 till it comes up on win. update - safety reasons :x)

The reason the text is screwed up is due to either Nvidia's drivers or microsofts inate ability to overlook details. Anyway, It comes from when Anti-Aliasing is on (any level of it) the text for some reason is messed up by FSAA.
