all Creative cards are Stereo by Default
is only the new Features that you can use or not use that are Optional
:t
Creative Audigy 1
and
Creative Audigy 2
are the 2 highest rated by audio industry for quality and good stereo with no drops

Look into Terra Tec. Some of their models are available at Sam Ash. Obviously the web as well. Reviews have suggested the "fidelity" is a little crisper than the audigy line.

"What do you mean by "oldfasion stereo" ?"
I think he means like not SPIDF, digital or optical out etc. Just two speaker sound "stereo" line level outputs. Prob. for the hifi Tuner eh. Anyhow I do that. Just get a sblive, audigy, audigy2, Turtle beach, or any recent pci soundcard really. they all are stereo out. Just most have also got 5.1 aswell. Will still do plain two channel stereo by default though so no worrys. Just use the line-out1 on soundcard (front channel) and get a stereo 1/8" mini-jack to rca converter so you have reg. RCA jack hookups for your stereo etc. They are dirt cheap like $3.00 or so.;)
