Forum Game Reviews?

Who here has gotten burnt on a game that was hyped by everyone and their mom? I'm guessing pretty much all of us. We all buy games and get recent releases forthe most part. With the mods permission of coarse we could post a thread about each game (if you own it) and have your own review - with several reviews from different people you'd get a good idea of what the game would be like for sure, and you'd know how it'd run on your system as they could tell you - "hey, your gonna be pulling 20 fps max buddy with that setup." First hand unbiased accounts are the best for reviews, would anybody be up for doing them or think it's a good idea? I mean too many games would flood the forum, but I don't see us posting THAT much, if so, a subforum can be dropped in I believe. So if the mods/owner, etc agrees, anybody up for doing reviews on new games - if you post in the thread it should be either about the review, as a clarification, or another person posting about the game. That should keep the threads fairly clean and allow people to read them and get real info not some spoonfed info from a company that's buying ads on a company website. So who here is game?

yeah a Game review forum is definitely interesting

but, i'm too lazy to do it

althought i wont mind doing it once in a while

since i "rent" a lot of games from EB and other places :p

then i return them for a better one ;)

so yeah a lot of new games passes my hands :D :t

You rent from EB too? It's worth the markup they charge, as with so many games which are complete lemons now, that little extra I don't mind paying just incase I get ****.

I have it set for 5 days total, so far nobody has called me crazy (or maybe they just preferred one of the other choices more :) ), but if it comes up in favor and a mod doesn't post a no-no saying it'll clutter the forum, I'll spit out a review (though I have nothing BRAND new, the newest I have is MW4 Mercenaries, waiting on MOO3 and Si******000 (though I hate the Sims).

I don't get ti try out all the games that everyone here does (no time or money) but the games I do get to play I would have no problem writing down a few tidbits :D

I won't be complaining, my grammar is horrible on here. The only time I spend making sure things are "proper" writing is for work. Here I just type as I go, and it shows very much. :)
