Do you have any requirements? CGI, PHP, ASP, ColdFusion, etc. ?
http://www.readyhosting.com is among the top 3 on CNET's list and costs only $99/yr with free domain registration for as long as you're a customer. I designed a page for a friend who's using it now and it's been flying nearly flawlessly for almost 6 months now. You get tons of stuff for that 1 price. http://www.readyhosting.com/hosting/hosting.html
EDIT>> Wow, I sound like I'm working for them.

I use www.jtlnet.com (http://www.jtlnet.com) for my site. Pretty good prices.
I've heard good things about www.hostmatters.com (http://www.hostmatters.com)
Check out www.hostrocket.com (http://www.hostrocket.com) for great prices. It seems VDI is experiencing a good deal of network problems, which, if they clear up, will make that a good option to consider.

Readyhosting seems to beat all these guys in every aspect...
For $8.25/mo.:
Free domain registration
500MB storage
unlimited FTP, data transfers, email
ColdFusion
ASP
CGI/PERL
PHP
SQL Server 2000
RealAudio/Video
SSL
LiveStats
I'm still looking for someone to beat that actually, as I'm in the market as well...

The only comment I would have is on ReadyHosting... I personally wouldn't be overly trusting of them. Odds are that either A) You don't get truly unlimited bandwidth or B) Service will always be slow and they won't be around long.
Option A is usually the case. There are a lot of services that offer "unlimited" bandwidth, only to go bezerk if you use up a lot. You know what they say about things too good to be true...
But hey, if you want to go for it, then go for it. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
