yeah i don't know what happend to EA games this year
but the 2003 NHL and Soccer kinda sucks Graphic wise compared to the same 2 games in 2002
the 2002 were soo realistic and nice, and easier to play controls
the 2003 is basically the same game, with updated team and roster and other stuff, like sscores etc, and a few minor features you'll never use
like more option for the replay and some other stuff
so anyways... the 2003 some how has the Graphics turned down a bit
the players looks more Fake like now, is not as nice as 2002, even with all option turned to max
you know me, when it comes to game i want it all Eye candy
and 2003 somehow kinda had that toned down a bit compared to 2002
the most annoying stuff, seems like the made the 2003 players more chunkier
chunkier as in FAT, Obese LOL :r
well who knows maybe cuz they made it so real, that is refrecting the Real size and weight of all those players
LMAO :r :D :p :t

PS does seem to have a better class of player, harder to beat some teams, cannot tell graphics wise as I got an G2MX POS.

Only thing i didnt liek about 2k2 was raising the difficulty didnt raise your opponents AI, it just made your keeper easier to beat and theirs more difficult to :(

Well, for an example, in2003, you can drag the ball through your own legs and feint your opponents. In 2002 the goalies just "caught" the puck if it hit them, now they have much better arm movement and sometimes the puck will bounce off and trickle behind them. You can still smash the flexiglass.
Much better really all round. But for hockey fans mostly.

I'm not sure what everyone is talking about I bought NHL 2003. I've bought every year since 98. I'm a DIEHARD hockey fan, and this game is just WAY to arcade like. If you dont' mind playing ALL offense and no commitment to defense at all, go for it, but if you want a hockey game that is realistic stay FAR FAR away.
NHL 2k3 put out by Sega is sooooooo much better, I just wish it was out on pc.
