I just installed NHL 2001 and I can only play for a few minutes , then it crashes.
I get an Abort message which says:
STREAM-invalid chunk size, then the directory where the game is installed.
System specs:
Abit KT7
Duron 700
128 megs Crucial Ram
Diamond Viper II video card
Sound Blaster Live Value
DirectX 8
After this post, I uninstalled the game , and ran the demo I had , and was able to play with no crashes. Although every once in a while, there would be almost like a sunburst of black . It would only last a split second.
I will try to install the game again, and post back if it fixes the problem
Well, it seems to be working fine now. I uninstalled the demo, tho I didn't think that would conflict with it.
I am curious as to what a chunk file is,just for the sake of knowing.
Well, back to the game http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
