How do I get rid of internet history in Windows XP? I've gone to the internet options page and cleared history but my stuff keeps showing up when i enter something into the address bar in MSN. My wifes page does'nt do this. Any ideas? I've tried everything that I know.
Thanks:confused:

I've tried that with no luck, any other suggestions?
Where in explorer would these web addresses be stored?
I also noticed that even when I clear everything...cookies etc.. that all my passwords are still rememebered as well. This is strange and has never happened before.
Thanks for any help

yes in Internet Options

there are some hidden Buttons that you need to Click

just take your time and click and play with every single option in there

you'll find it eventually

If you're brave enough you can edit the registry for those buggerly sites. You'll just have to run REGEDIT, then do a 'search' for whatever keeps popping up. It's a little more involved, but those entries will not come back after 'pruning the verge' so-to-speak.

If you're talking about auto complete just highlight them and press "delete".

Clear Address bar history:
Open Internet Explorer
Go to the View menu
Click Options
Click the Navigation tab
Click Clear History
Click OK

That's for old Explorer.
This for new Explorer:
Tools
General
Clear History

You may have to close the session and reboot.
