I'm looking to upgrade my ram. My mobo has 4 slots and 2 of them are full with sticks of 128 rd pc800 ram(256 all together). My question is. Can I add a single stick of 256 into one of the open slots or do I need to add 2 128's and keep the memory per stick number the same?

only if your mobo support 256mb per dim. otherwise, go the alternative way

The form factor is actually RIMM not DIMM (note the RAM is RD). And could Sandra tell me if my mobo would support what you suggested?

you need to run RD RIMMS in pairs.

So i could take 2 sticks of 256 and put those in and get 768 all together? (2 sticks of 128 and 2 sticks of 256)
