If its NTFS you need to get hold of delpart.exe because fdisk cant delete ntfs partitions

You can manage partitions in Disk Management (DISKMGMT.MSC). You can also create and destroy partitions in Win2K setup.

A standard Win98 bootdisk can FDISK a Win2K setup:

I agree with BPB. Right click on My Computer and select Manage. Find disk management on the left window payne and your disks will show up on the right. You can fdisk and format there.
