All I want it for is games, music and not much else. But it looks like the reviews and other posts here that the only difference is the software that is bundled with it. Which of those 3 cards would be best for the buck? Do they all have gold leads?

Oh yeah and I need support for at least 4 speakers. I bought a new subwoofer and speaker set then found out my current soundcard only supports 2 speakers!

Ok thanks a lot. Also according to their site teh X-Gamer has a S/PDIF input and the Value doesn't. But teh Value is almost $60 cheaper

Check pricewatch and you should be able to find an OEm Sounblaster Live! 5.1 for about $60 + S/H. Great card and great price.

I've had my SB Live Value for over a year now, and love it. Works great with 4 speakers. Altec Lansing ACS54 are great for mp3's and pretty decent for dvd's.

I had to agree, there basically all the same, I own a computer for each one and the only difference is that the Value doesn't have the S/PDIF in, and i really havent come across any programs that use it yet.
