I've recently finished building this system that uses a Giga-byte GA-7VAXP Ultra Mobo.
However, my other system is a GA-7VRXP and it has a bios option to turn off the raid detection at start-up.
This 7VAXP doesn't. Is there a way to turn it off?

jerrmz- when you start up press delete to get into the BIOS settings. once there, go to integrated peripherals. Disable RAID H/W or something like that to stop the raid detection.
ConfusedAlien- I have had no problems with the GA-7VAXP, however, a lot of people are saying that you should wait for the kt-400a chipset.

So far I've found both boards to be very stable. Next one I get will probably be an Asus or abit but for now I use the giga-byte.
I'm using an Athlon XP 2000 and it seems to work just fine. I've had no problems with either one.
