Looks like the vga port is no longer working. (tested monitor on other system, works fine). Two questions. 1) how do I replace the onboard one or how do I disable it so i can puit in another? Kinda hard to see what I am doing with no display.

I doubt the vga port is the culprit. Did this just happen?...:)

Yes. All of a sudden the monitor went blank. I hooked it up to my system..works great. Tried a different monitor on son's system, boots but nothing on the screen.

This is a "No Post" condition. Video is powered by sdram in Dimm #1. I would start by reseating the memory stick and clearing the cmos jumper. See if it will post...:)
