Anyone know this Console Command?

A friend has a XP Athlon 1700+ and a G Force 4 mx400 and he is Peaking at a Steady 90 - 95 FPS. I know he is Getting Higher FPS What is the Console Command to Uncap this So We can Get an Accurate FPS Rate on his system?

Have you also tried using fraps? I hardly every use in game fps console commands. Just my 2c. Don't have q3 so I don't know the commands, sorry. Happy Holidays :)

go into the config file (.cfg) with notepad theres a line reading maxfps_90 or sumink - change the 90 to 0, save and exit

this is the command:

set com_maxfps 200

usually 200 is a good place to start, and even if you have that set you can get fps higher than that. for example i typically get 207.3 fps with mine set to that.

in you X:\quake3\baseq3 (X being the drive Q3 is installed) create a file called "autoexec.cfg" and put that command in there. that way it will always run when you start Q3.

for more info on Q3, check www.quake3world.com/forums.
