I'm looking for some new games to play on my computer......
I've found that the racing games kinda suck.....tried F1 2k2.....Grand Prix 4.....Colin McRae rally 2.....wasn't really impressed with any of them.
What i'm looking for are some suggestions on good racing games and first person shooters.
I've got a Duron 1ghz.......384 mb ram......radeon 7000 32mb pci
Hopefully my specs will help narrow the suggestions down a bit
i've seen what some of these new games that have come out have for minmum sys. requirements......It's intense.
I'm not too excited about the platform  :(
Microsoft RalliSport Challenge I'm playing right now beats the **** out of CMR2, but I doubt it will run well on your system even with minimal settings :(

Just saw the specs for that game and i doubt it would run very well too.
Thats actually a game i was thinking might be good.
I think i'll pass on it though since my vid. card is really the only piece of hardware holding me back.

bringin back this forum!
try getting medal of honor: allied assault, and maybe get the expansion MOH: spearhead. MOHAA used to work pretty good on a p2 450, and a 16mb vid card
try that first person shooter (DO NOT GET BATTLEFIELD 1942!!!)

Just picked up yesterday MOHAA. Exchanged a console game at Target for it. OMG, what a great game! The multiplayer is so much more fun than RTCW (Which seemed too cartoony). Anywho, I would recommend Medal of Honor for a fps.

i believe MOHAA is the next best game to the actual WW2, even though i have battlefield 1942, which has more options for you to do, MOHAA just seems better overall, and MOHAA, spearhead, the expansion, is A LOT better for the single player missons than the original MOHAA, because you are not alone on all your missions, but single player is VERY SHORT compared to the original missons, if you wanted to, you could finish all the expansion missons in one day, so MULTIPLAYER!!!!:r

I agree with you guys Overall MOHAA is more fun
Battle field 1492 is too real, so it kills the fun out of it
is more like training sessions in school
real boring
good idea, good engince good everything, but real boring game play, no fun no fun

The only thing I can say that RTCW has over MOHAA is the ability to choose a type of persona (Soldier, Lt., or Medic). Does Battlefield1942 have that option as well? That would have made MOHAA perfect imo.

if you are into Strategical
then get any of these
StarCraft/Broodward - it's still the best game ever after all these years, prently of players in battle.net every single day
Red Alert/Yuri - another best of the best, not as good as StarCraft, but still massively fun to play
WarCraft 3 - yet another excellent game, but is not Sci Fi base, so it's not in the top of my list, but it has an excellent engine and lots of people playing it

Why is that people are into violent games like all those CS, HL, UT2K3, Quake 3, and all the stuff like that?
people should use more brain and get more into Strategy games :D:D:D:D:D
much more fun, than running around with a gun like a chicken with the head chopped off, going all berserker
lol :p

Just picked up StarCraft in the bargain bin... big happy fun. Addictive, even though I usually like FPS's.
