I no longer have the hard drive I deleted some files from. My recycle bin says it's got 0 files but always shows full. When I delete other items off of present hard drives, it deletes those ok but there is always an error saying it cannot delete 2 items that are not showng in there. I have used a boot disk and done the attrib -h -s /deltree recycled thing. still a problem. I think I also deleted INFO but still getting these errors. I have tried everything I know of. Is it in the registry somewhere? I would appreciate step-by-step instructions at this point. Who has a plan? All suggestions welcomed.

Thank you very much in advance. This has finally driven me INSANE!!!

I would try running Windows setup.

Have you tried to do a scandisk?
If I ever have that trouble (just recently when I deleted a game directory after I had played it) I reboot then I am able to remove it from the recycle bin.
If that does not work I would try the scandisk just in case something is being reported incorrectly.

Yeah, I sure tried that. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif I hope I don't need to just do a re-install but maybe I will have too. Thank you for giving your suggestion though. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
