Is the nimo codec pack any good?

Nope. Just a whole bunch of codecs stuffed together :(
IMHO, DiVX, XviD and and ffdshow are the only ones you need. All others are per demand :)

The reason I ask for others is because i have a divx video that doesn't have any sound. Would you know why?

Bizkitkid2001, I believe you will want the Divx Audio Compressor, a repackaged Divx 3.11 audio codec. There are some divx files that use the older audio codec, so this worked for me on those files.

You can see what codec was used for audio in the specific DiVX video by looking at its properties.

ND is didn't say under the properties. All it said for audio was the bitrate and the lenght of the audio.

Yes, the ones you have will still work. Whatever divx files you have that happen to use this audio codec will play audio, so no more silence.

Try looking for file properties under Win98, should be better in recognition. Or with any professional video editing program :)
