I have a Leadtek Winfast Geforce4 Ti 4200. It has a standard monitor output, an S-Video output, and a DVI output. I was under the impression that it could output to the monitor and to S-Video at the same time, but I cannot get that to happen.

I can get the display on either the monitor or the TV, but not both. If I set NView to "Clone", and then click "Detect Displays" it drops back to Standard (Nview Disabled). Am I missing something, or was I misinformed about the dual-output capabilities of this card? Something that can only output to the monitor/TV - AND - the DVI in terms of dual display is utterly useless to me.

Thanks!

I've had no problems cloning with the card. The Leadtek is the best out there. Get the latest drivers and try for the best.

It's working now.

I had never installed anything except Detonator drivers. When I uninstalled them and installed all the stuff on the LeadTek CD, then I had dual-view. Then I made a restore point, uninstalled those, reinstalled 40.41, and I still had dual-view. I guess it just needed initialization of some sort.

Now, if I could only get the "special" resolutions to work in TVTool... :)

Dang - more help please?

I got TV-out working before. Then I even got TV-in working and recorded a few basketball games.

Now I can still get TV-out and I have TV-in hooked up the same as before. The audio is fine but I'm getting a black screen (CVBS). I've tried different wires, different input sources, and I'm getting nothing.

I didn't change drivers or anything. I just hooked up the video wire (that was going into the LeadTek adapter) to a portable TV, and the video is coming through fine, so it is definitely a card problem, not wiring.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I want to record something tonight and this is driving me up the wall. I didn't change anything!!! :(
