A buddy of mine's dad has a computer whose motherboard is a Amtron M810. The guy who built the computer never gave him the CD with the motherboard's drivers on it (idiot!), so I need to find them on the net.

I went to Amtron.com and the closest model number that I could find the drivers for is K7-810LM. It is an AMD K7 processor (900MHz), so it resembles it somewhat.

Can anyone confirm or deny that these are the drivers that will also work for the Amtron m810? If they will not, which model number has the same drivers as the m810?

Amptron M810 is actually PC-Chips M810. The board has been around for ages, and gone through many revisions (nonetheleast to make it Athlon-XP compatible when those came out), but the drivers are all the same.

Most of the functionality comes from the SiS 730S chipset. Collect your drivers from www.sis.com - the common AGP and IDE drivers, 730S VGA, 900 LAN, 7018 sound.
Only the AMR modem driver needs to come from www.pcchips.com.tw or www.ecs.com.tw.

regards, Peter

Actually, thanx for the tip. The modem driver that we downloaded for the K7-810LM didn't take, but the one from pcchips did!

Thanx, Peter!
