Hey I plan on buying a new burner, and it know it's bundled with Nero and I'm currently using Roxio Creator 5.

I've heard that Nero and Direct CD don't like each other. And that it's best to remove Direct CD, is this still that case?

Nero = Good burning app.

So which burner are you getting? Lite-On burners come bundled with Nero, but I don't know about the 'rest'. And you'll have to download the latest version from Ahead's site for XP compatibility.

get rif of 'orrible easy cd and use Nero -- much nicer :D

Pues creo que Nero va ganar. Yeah, once I get the Liteon, I'm planning on using Nero.

Everyone both locally and on the net, says Nero is a better app.

Nero is the one I use unless I have to burn an audio cd with the tracks crossfaded, then it's the roxio cd creator, just don't install direct cd!

Ya know, for some clueless reason... I thought I had to install Direct cd, for it work with Roxio. I'm not a fan of direct cd now the creator 5.0, just causes problems...not too impressed.

Naw, direct cd is just for using the cd as an available drive to write to in explorer, then finalize when it's full thing. It's a POS IMO.

Ezcd creator works just fine without it and doesn't hose up Nero and run all the time and stuff like directCD...:)
