I am going to do my partitioning that I have been putting off. Can I just cut and paste stuff into the new partitions?
And I want Win 2K in the first partition, so do I just make it small say 2G and then drag the rest of the stuff out of it?
Thanks in Advance...
PS: I plan to use partition magic...

You can move data files, but not programs - at least not easily. Paste away.

Yup - what he said ^^^
Beware in the cases of large data it can take ages (took me 20 mins to drag 15gb of data across once :() so it might be better reintsalling from disc or whatever

No no no....
What you want in this case is Ghost!!
else your Win2k will not boot, by just copying it over

How will Ghost help him move selected data to new partitions?

After you've made a new partition with pm you can use its move feature to get 2k over to the new partition or other data at least with pm8, just make sure your version can work with 2k think at the least you would need ver6.

i'have done it before, but i forgot exactely how to do it
cuz i only did and watched the tutorial, but never needed it, since Clean Sweep is faster in this arena :p
but yes with Ghost is possible, i have a buddy that uses Ghost and he does it that way
so i guess the easiest reference is the manual :D
