can i link two folders in such a way so they are exactly the same. what i want to do is back-up certain folders to my second hard drive, can i get them to update automatically whenever i do something to the original folder?:confused:

In Fact the are many many many ways you can do this
1) Briefcase is MS recomended method, i hate it, it never worked well
2) Scheduled Copy is the best, via a batch file
3) MS Backup utility or use a 3rd party backup tools (this is usually other people favorite)

I remove a harddrive with 100gb of data from the ide...I was in amidistration tools disk management...saw a red X on "disk 3" so I deleted the volume. Not realizing what would happen. I put back the drive & in disk management is asking me to format the drve again. How can I recover the drive with all the data intact. All the data is still there, I did not delete it just the volume. Really stupid mistake.
