Thanks CrimZon 12-16-2002, 03:16 PM To the best of my knowledge . . . yes! However, the speed will still be limited on USB1 or USB1 devices. Bovon 12-16-2002, 03:24 PM BipolarBill will be along any minute now to answer this with the facts...but in the mean time, I just read some **** at the following USB site that I really don't like...seems Sir Bill Gates has once again put the screws to his Win9x users. This guy is gonna force his latest software down our throats by any hook or crook he possibly can. You know the drill...you can still buy aftermarket tires for a Model A Ford, but you cannot buy software for a 5 year old OS. http://www.usbman.com/USB%202%20News.htm AllGamer 12-16-2002, 03:32 PM Originally posted by TweakerXP Will a USB1 device work in a USB2 port? or vice versa?? USB1.1 devices will work fine on any USB2.0 ports, BUT ... USB2.0 devices will work fine on any USB1.1 ports at USB1.1 speed (~1.1MB/s) as long as it meets all the power specs (look for portable USB2.0 CD-R/W for reference, they all got double formula  ) SysOpt.com
