Burning copies on to my HD !!!

Maybe I did'nt make my self clear enough,I am using a FTP sever and I would like to make complete copies of movies and music cd's etc. for others to download from me.I am not very knowdgeable about this type of thing so I need full set of directions..lol...Maybe that will help you help me ...SIC...Thanks

If nothing else, you could just make your CD-Rom drive availble via FTP. But that would limit you to offering only what's on the CD in the drive at the time...and of course it'd still be illegal for others to copy that information if indeed it is copyrighted material.

So Iguess all of you who wrote about copyright laws have never downloaded anytghing off the internet that wasen't free wear. As for that matter I guess you never have used napster, I also guess when there was just tapes I guess you never taped a song off of the radio!!!!I bet you have done that.Oh but that is the same thing. I"m not selling cd's. I'm just trying to share. Just like when your friend brings that cd copy over for U to put on your system.Oh,I guess you never did that either.What BS...SIC...

Ok,what I want to do is take a cd that has information like win2k and make a complete downloadable copy of it on my harddrive.How would one go about doing this?I know alot of you don't believe in this kinda stuff but I would like to be able to share some differnt things I have on disk with others,mainly sharewear,just using Win2k as an example.Thanks...SIC...

what do you mean??? you can just copy the whole cd to a created folder on your hard drive just by copying it in explorer.
or why not just burn a copy on cd? you can copy certain programs off a cd and just make a data cd with just THAT info.... not sure i fully understand what you want..
