on TV i saw that GAP employees are now NOT ALLOWED to say Merry Christmas because it may offend people who are not Christians.

have we just gone too far with being sensative to everybody's feeling and choosing to comprimize the MAJORITY to satisfy the minority?

Too far is an understatement. Since when is it politically incorrect to wish somebody good tidings during the holiday seasons. But I guess they'll have it changed to "Happy Holidays" soon. Oh well, idiost abound all about us.

is only those weirdos that feels their religion is the only one that is the right one that has problem

basically the same reason why in the middle east they are still fighting after all these thousands of human years

Id say its two sided They are wayyyy to sensitive. But some do get sick of a christian dominated world. Now most are great people from any religion. But there are extreemists in all religions. And they can make ya sick. SO Id say the ones trying to not offend others have gone to far, just the same as those so easily offended. Does anyone know what I mean???

Its like two people standing at a door going, you first-no you- no you, first than break out into a fight over it. LOL.:x

Im with you on that one Tarp.
Why do we use a Christian Calendar system in this day and age, when one considers they never actually invented the calendar - only copied it... Plagarism within Christianity.

Plagarism within Christianity.

**** striaght, Christams is only at when its at because when chrisitanity started out its main competition was from the Pagans who held the mid winter festival at this tiem of year. To win ppl across the christians had to promise them their regular festivals similar to paganism, hence christmas was born as a competitior and replacment for mid winter

Hence thats why i believe religion is the biggest bucket of bulls**t ever created

Hi there,

They are so sensitive about their religion and beliefs because they can, we allow them to. We are told to shut up and we do, why?
Because a hell of a lot of people need to follow a leader to tell them how to live their lives, and it is so imperative to them they don't see that those leaders have their own personal agenda. We seem to follow political leaders, they follow their own leaders. At the end, religion has less to do with god than power. A way to control the masses. That's why the political arena and the religious arena always has dealings with each other.
Never mind your beliefs, the important thing in all this is TOLERANCE. I am working in a place where there are quite a few indies. They had their new year a few weeks ago, they brought cakes and sweets that they cooked for the occasion, and share them with us. At Christmas, they'll have each a Christmas card from us. What's the problem with that?
At the end, we can all find a common ground, and we all can respect each other, but I am not sure if our leaders and bosses knows that!

Cheers
