I have had the Samsung syncmaster 955 df for about 18 months now with no problems with it whatsoever. However the max res is 1600x1200 with a 85 hz refresh rate. I like this model and it works well for me. Good luck....sam

Go for it. Have had Samsung 17" Syncmaster 753DFX (DynaFlat) for over 6 months and is brill. Perfect picture coner to corner and that 0.20 do pitch is great. Cost is unbelievable too..mine only cost £140 inc vat ( in UK) ..now they sell for £107+Vat.

ViewSonic makes a great flat screen 19", the pf-790. Go to Technoweb (http://www.techonweb.com) for best online vendor for monitors. They're reliable, best prices, and shipping is fair.

Samsung is great. Not better than Hitachi though, which is what I use (19" CM721F flat-screen CRT).

can't vouge for samsung but as someone else stated TechonWeb.com is great place to get monitors and other stuff. Cheapest price found on mine, with basic ground shipping arrived in less than 2 days...
