You're not clear. Are you r-clicking the My Computer desktop icon & choosing Explore?

Yes, When i right click on the my computer desktop; icon and chose explore it says that its not able to open with anything. I need to know where the registry key would be found. I know what the key needs to be jsaut not where it shouldl be.

Removing "Explore" from the r-click menu also involves a reg hack, or using a "Tweaking" program. I don't think the program Tweakui will remove it, but there are others that will.
If you don't use "Explore", just don't click it.

Working w/the registry isn't that hard, but it's very OS (W95, W98, WinNT, Win2K, etc)dependent and any mistakes made might have very unpleasant results. I've never experienced your problem, but it sounds like the "Folder" association is corrupted. If you can look at (in an Explorer window)Tools/(File) Options/File Types & scroll down the Folder, highlight it & hit edit. Do Explore and Edit show? If not, that's your problem. Try highlighting Explore (if there), & choose "default".
