I just picked up the Antec PP303X ATX power supply for my system. Now, it has the power plugs for an ATX connection and also the standard connectors for drives however there is an additional plug on it that I am not familiar with. It actually looks like half of an AT connector. However there's only one half to it, not the whole connector that would be needed to actually plug into an AT board.

I checked out the specs for it as well as the info that came with the unit and I'm still clueless as to what this connector is for. Can anyone help?

It goes to the 3 1/2 floppy drive.
I have the same power supply.

Nope, it doesnt...
it supplys extra power to some server boards that have that connector, an auxiliary connecter.

An example here

and then scroll to the bottom to the diagram of the plugs.

Thanks for the replies.

That's exactly what I was looking for AuraEdge. I was baffled by it! So that's what it is mainly for -extra power for the board?
