How can I determine the ip address in win xp ?
Is there a command equivalent to the winipcfg of win98 ?

Many thanks

IPCONFIG /all will show all IP settings and info.

in 2k (dunno bout XP) you have to enter cmd in the run menu and then execute IPConfig from the command line, simply running it from the run menu will cause it to close itself down... on 2k at least

Yes I know about ipconfig but you have to run it from the command line. I was just wondering whether there was something like the winipcfg command.

Anyway many thanks to all for replying
