(man i wish i had your buget... my pc is barely 1/4 the processing power) Andy_L 04-09-2001, 03:57 AM Hey, i know that case....... KAknight 04-09-2001, 06:53 AM I think the link is bad. I got some error that says, "Access to the desired Web page is restricted at this time. Reason: The Websense category "Blocked Sites" is restricted." Can anyone else get there? GroundZero3 04-09-2001, 08:37 AM let me guess your at school knight? websense is a proxy to filter out web sites and material. there nothing you really can do about it. i should know i work for the school board office http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif Jason Mntsnow 04-09-2001, 08:55 AM Looking sweet there Stan http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif NDC 04-09-2001, 09:10 AM That's you game system, huh? WOW! Did you modify the positioning of your hard disk rack or is that where it originally was? Mine is located at the lower front of the case and I'd like to move it to a different position but can't because my FDD is attached to the hard disk rack. If only I could move that huge rack to the top like your case has, I think better air ventilation could be done... http://www.sysopt.com/forum/frown.gif The case I'm using is a Micronics 9010a and I like everything about the case, but the positioning of the disk rack isn't so nice.. Sorry the pictures so big... This is an image I already had in the server and was too lazy to crop it and repost it.... Notice how the HUGE hard disk rack covers a portion of the mainboard? I need to take that tack off when I need to get to the IDE channels. The IDE channels are blocked by the hard disk rack..... <IMG SRC="http://ndcmj.hihome.com/MySystem3.jpg" border=0> Spec: http://pub51.ezboard.com/fxtreme89487frm12.showMessage?topicID=2.topic [This message has been edited by NDC (edited 04-09-2001).] Stan 04-09-2001, 10:39 AM Hi NDC, I moved the HD rack to the top of the case, above the PSU. I wanted maximum air flow and cooling and I hate seing that big HD rack covering the mobo. I also have a 12cm fan blowing air right onto the CPU's, but you can't see it as it attached on the case itself. Dunno if you can see it, but there is also a 8cm fan just in front of the 2 HD's, so it can extract hot air generated by the HD's. Stan [This message has been edited by Stan (edited 04-09-2001).] Andy_L 04-09-2001, 02:44 PM Thats the way Aopen builds their full towers. It rocks because there are fans that keep your harddisks cool. Check them out (I do love these cases) http://www.aopen.com/products/housing/hq08.htm edited to fix link [This message has been edited by Andy_L (edited 04-09-2001).] mgordon99 04-09-2001, 05:07 PM Nice setup Stan... Hey Dr_Watson, is there anywhere that rounded cables can be purchased? I am not too good with the knife. Mike NDC 04-09-2001, 05:37 PM Here you go, mgordon99. http://216.157.14.244/round.htm golfcart 04-09-2001, 05:42 PM That sure is one heck of a case youv'e got there. wish i had the $$ to fill up one of them. Dr_Watson 04-09-2001, 06:01 PM http://www.pcmods.com they sell pre-rounded 80 wire cables... (the 80 wire guys are alot trickier than the 40's) i think they also sell standard ide round cables too... (lots of other fun stuff also, like neons and acrylic windows) Brangwen 04-09-2001, 07:18 PM Very impressive systems!
